BARBARA GANNON, MD, FAAP


Washingtonville Pediatrics, PC

Barbara Gannon, M.D., F.A.A.P. attended S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.S. in chemistry with University High Honors and Honors in chemistry.

Her M.D. was obtained at S.U.N.Y. Health Sciences Center in Syracuse.

She was intern, resident and Pediatric Chief Resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Affiliated Hospitals in the Bronx, N.Y.

Dr. Gannon is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Upon completing her training she began her life's dream of private practice at Washingtonville Pediatrics, P.C. in 1991.

Her special interests include development, school and behavior issues and nutrition. Dr. Gannon lives in Blooming Grove with her wonderful husband Frank and her six children, including a set of twins. She is also involved in the community as a Girl Scout leader for two of her daughters' troops in Heart of the Hudson Girl Scout Council and lector at Sacred Heart Church in Monroe.

In her spare time Dr. Gannon enjoys Irish Step dance class and her book discussion group.
