CAROL MEDOW, BSN, RN
Carol Medow, BSN, RN obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from The University of Bridgeport.
She began her clinical nursing career in 1975, working at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the field of Gyn/Oncology. She continued working in this field at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia for several years.
Carol has additional experience in the areas of Radiation Oncology and Public Health Nursing. She has also been a Nursing Supervisor of a long-term care facility.
In 1984, she met with Dr. Leonard Newman at New York Medical College to discuss working as a Pediatric Gastroenterology nurse. At this interview he said “try it for a month and see if you like it.” That was 26 years ago and she still loves working as a Pediatric Gastroenterology Nurse Clinician.
